3 Units
Sample Leader Unit: the numbers along the bottom of the counter are (from left t
o right): Combat strength
Command Value
Movement Allowance.
Unit Size: unit size is indicated on the counters:
Bgde = brigade
Reg = regiment
Backprinting: Units are backprinted with their contingent (ex: Austria).
Unit types:
Leaders: leaders are the units with circled command values.
Engineer Leaders are the ones with Eng is printed on the counter. All other Leade
rs are non-Engineer.
All leaders are also considered regular cavalry, except Murad Khan who is irreg
ular cavalry.
Regular Cavalry: All horse troopers with a circled combat strength (ex: Austrian
1st Brigade).
Irregular Cavalry: All Habsburg horse troopers with a red movement allowance (ex
: Polish Cossacks); all Ottoman horse troopers with a yellow movement allowance
(ex: Turkish Akinji).
Dragoons: all horse troopers with Dragoons (note that only Habsburgs have dragoon
s). Regular Infantry: all foot soldiers other than Irregular Infantry (per below
). (Note: the only Ottoman regular infantry are the 4-5 units.)
Irregular Infantry: All Habsburg foot soldiers with a red movement allowance (ex
: Croatian 1st Brigade); all Ottoman foot soldiers with a yellow movement allowa
nce (ex: Turkish Azab).
Siege Guns: these have a cannon and Siege Gun or Siege .
Supply Trains: these have a wagon and Sply Trn .
Garrisons: all zero movement factor units.
Counter errata: the Polish Gd (Guard) and 1st Cavalry Brigades should be regular
cavalry.
2.4 Markers
Army markers: these are the Habsburg A, B and C markers, and the Ottoman 1, 2 an
d 3.
The Morale markers have Morale on them.
The Battle marker is just that it is not a Campaign event.
Entrenched markers are backprinted with Pillaged.
Campaign markers: these have an event on the front and Campaign on the back.

Habsburgs refer to the following counters:
Royal Hungarian = R Hungary
Charles = Pr Charles
von St = Starhemberg
Ottomans refer to the following counters:
Budin Pashalak = BP
Lagimcilcar = Lagim
