QUALIFICATIONS
I have had great experience through both work and my schooling. With
my job, I started as a cashier, and was swiftly picked up to do other jobs
around the store such as: receiving shipments, pricing and merchandising of
product, nursery jobs (i.e. cleaning, watering and maintenance of plants) and
customer service. After about a year of working my employer promoted me to
head cashier and I began taking on more responsibilities such as training new
employees, settling customer complains, and fixing any errors made by the
cashiers. This job taught me a lot about leadership, communication, and
organization. It has also taught me what it takes to become the best I can be in
whatever position I am put in, and then continuing to find ways to better
myself.
In school, I am in honors classes, with a cumulative 3.9176 GPA. I have
not been absent or tardy to a class in the last two years unless I was away
performing and was excused from class. I play first/lead trumpet in the
Olympus High Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, and Concert Orchestra, as well
playing first trumpet for all of the orchestrated musicals put on by the school. I
participate in the Granite Youth Symphony playing first trumpet and will be
traveling and performing with them in San Francisco during the summer of
2015.
