Robotic Engineer

Education: Minuim of bachelor and they would rather you have


masters. They would like to have a ph.D
What they do: Robotics engineers may work in the agricultural,
military, medical, and manufacturing industries, among others,
conceiving of new uses for robots, designing improved robots for
existing systems, or repairing and maintaining industrial robots

Astronaut
What they do: An astronaut (or cosmonaut) is a person trained by
a human spaceflight program to command, pilot, or serve as a
crew member of a spacecraft.
Education:
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in
engineering, biological science, physical science, or
mathematics.
Ability to pass the NASA long-duration space flight physical
Degree must be followed by at least 3 years of related,
progressively responsible, professional experience or at least
1,000 pilot-in-command time in jet aircraft. An advanced
degree is desirable and may be substituted for experience as
follows: masters degree = 1 year of experience, doctoral
degree = 3 years of experience. Teaching experience,
including experience at the K - 12 levels, is considered to be
qualifying experience for the Astronaut Candidate position;
therefore, educators are encouraged to apply.

Software Engineer
What they do: A Software engineer is a person who applies the
principles of software engineering to the design, development,
maintenance, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems
that make computers or anything containing software work.
Education: Bachelor degree in computer science, software
engineering or a related field

Training: Three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma program
Audio engineer
What they do: An audio engineer is concerned with the recording,
manipulation, mixing and reproduction of sound. Many audio
engineers creatively use technologies to produce sound for film,
radio, television, music, electronic products and computer games.
Education: To become an audio engineer one can attend a
vocational program that usually lasts up to a year. Programs will
train students to use the equipment they will eventually have to
use at work. Some employers prefer an associate degree. Most
employers look for workers who are proficient with the equipment
they use. This usually comes from a combination of formal
training and experience.

What they do: Traffic technicians, also known as traffic


technologists, are skilled workers who specialize in the technical
aspects of controlling and studying vehicle traffic.
Education: A few different types of degree programs can prepare
students for a career as a traffic technician, including those in civil
technology or engineering-related fields. Take courses in
mathematics or computer science. Bachelor's degree.

Biofuel Manufacturing research engineer
What they do: A biofuel manufacturing research engineer designs
and devises tools, procedures, and processes that will generate
biofuel more efficiently for the purpose of generating electricity,
heating homes, and powering vehicles.
Education: The majority of biofuel manufacturing research
engineers have a bachelors degree in either chemical,
mechanical, materials, engineering or science. Earning a masters
of science (MSc) in Biofuels Process Engineering will equip
engineers with the highest standard and an advanced
understanding and practical experience of employing biofuel
research and advanced process technology within the industry.

responsible for the design, construction and repair of ships, boats,
other marine vessels and offshore structures, both civil and

Biochemical Engineer:
What they do: Biochemical engineering/ biotechnology
engineering/bioprocess engineering is a branch of chemical
engineering that mainly deals with the design and construction of
unit processes that involve biological organisms or molecules,
such as bioreactors.
Education: Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering for entrylevel; master's or doctoral degree for advanced positions.
