BYU-Idaho Preschool Lesson Plan

Lab #6
Photography
Date: April 1, 2013
Supervisor: Makayla Bair
Lead Teacher: Rachel Nail
Preassessment and Findings:
The children in our lab were very excited when they were able to take pictures with a camera. The teachers talked
about doing a photography theme for the week which we decided to do. I will be focusing on what you take
picutres of. I asked several students about what you take pictures of and Beckham, Carter, Addisen, and Kayla
specifically talked about how we take pictures of people. Beck emphasized how we take pictures of clothes. Kru
told me that he took pictures of his movies, specifically Back to the Sea. Luke didnt really know so he shrugged
his shoulders. Tanner was playing with Mr. Potato Head and he is very interested in Toy Story so he said, Mr.
Potato Head. Addisen and Drake also said that you can take pictures of anything you want. Most of the students
emphasized that you could take pictures of people but not many strayed from people.

Ideas to be Emphasized:
1. We can take pictures of people doing all kind of things, such as playing, eating, cleaning, and many
other things.
2. We can take pictures of different animals; in the zoo, at home, or anywhere you see them.
3. We can take pictures of things outside; trees, flowers, and rocks.
