The Performance Centre, Ensemble Rooms and Meeting Room at Centre for Musical Arts are the ideal
place for you to hold your events, workshops, classes, launches or meetings. Our state of the art are
flexible spaces have been designed specifically to ensure that you can maximise the potential of the
space to suit your own individual needs as well as those of your clients and students.
Our 2000 sq ft performance has seating for 150 audience members as well as up to 60 performers.
In a seminar setting, our state of the art projector, sound system and presentation options will allow you
to deliver your event, meeting or class with style and professionalism.
We offer 2 ensemble rooms which are ideal spaces to hold smaller events or classes. These spaces
can be configured in a number of ways, each with projector, sound system and Apple TV connectivity.
The Meeting Room at Centre for Musical Arts the perfect location to hold your business meetings and
presentations in a professional manner. Suitable for 8 guests and a presentation team, our meeting room
is equipped with a 55 Samsung LED TV, Apple TV and HDMI connectivity throughout to ensure you
can deliver your presentation or meeting with style.
We offer 2 types of rental for our spaces. Single rentals and recurring rentals, both of which can be
requested through the form at the end of this document. Rental prices are also listed at the end of the
document.

Performance Centre
The Performance Centre at Centre for Musical Arts has been designed to allow as much flexibility for the
user as possible. The large flat floor space allows a great degree of flexibility when in use. Whether it be
a concert, event, class or other performance we will be able to configure the room to suit your needs. The
functional black out blinds allow for the space to be used in a black box style.

Our spacious Ensemble Room, is a perfect space for your small recital, concert, class or event. The room
comes equipped with everything you need to make the space suit your own needs. By adjoining to our
Performance Centre, the room can also be used as a green room for larger scale performances.

Meeting Room
The Meeting Room is the ideal location to hold your meetings, presentations or brainstorming sessions in
a private, professional environment. The spacious central desk allows for large planning sessions and the
unique connectivity provided will allow for ease of use for all of your needs.

Rooms are rented as empty spaces and should be returned in the condition that they are presented, unless otherwise
agreed.
If rentals are cancelled more than 28 days before the initial hire, the full rental fee plus deposit will be
refunded.
A deposit of 10% of the total rental fee is required at the time of booking. This will be deducted from the final cost of
rental.
If rentals are cancelled between 15 and 28 days of initial hire, the full rental fee minus the deposit will be
refunded.
In the event that the rental or event should run over the allocated time, a fee of Dhs 300 per hour may be charged to
cover the additional staffing and resourcing costs by the centre.
If rentals are cancelled between 8 and 15 days of the initial hire, 50% of the rental fee will be charged and
the deposit cheque will not be refunded.
Other equipment that is rented should be returned in the condition it is presented. Any damage to equipment that
requires repair or replacement will be charged to the organisation hiring the equipment.
If rentals are cancelled up to 7 days of the initial hire, the full amount of the hire will be charged and the
deposit cheque will not be refunded.
Any piano that is rented is one that is used in our music centre, these pianos are regularly tuned. If you require the
piano to be tuned to your needs then this will be carried out at an additional cost.
A period of one month of notice is required to cancel a recurring rental within a contracted period otherwise
one full month will be charged to the renting organisation.
For the use of any chargeable item, a returnable deposit cheque of Dhs 1000 will be required. This is to cover any
equipment that may be used. The cheque will be returned after the rental period on the condition that any equipment
used is returned undamaged. This should be attached to the booking form.
Full rental fees should be settled 7 days in advance of the hire commencement. This applies to one off and recurring
rentals. Long term rentals may be paid in monthly installments by agreement with the Centre.
CMA can provide audio recording facilities for your event, however a CMA member of staff will be required to be
on site for the recording and post production using CMA equipment. This is subject to an hourly rate as noted in
the equipment hire list. This will cover the time that the staff member is required to be present in the rented space in
addition to a minimum 2 hours of post production. Audio recordings will be provided to the hirer within 14 days of the
rental by memory stick in both MP3 (compressed) and uncompressed Audio fromats. After delivery of audio recording
to the client CMA will not be responsible for the maintenance of the recorded media. CMA reserves the right to use
any recordings for use in marketing and promotional purposes.
The renter is welcome to bring their own equipment into the facility for use however any electrical equipment must have
been checked for safety less than 12 months before the commencement of the hire. Any large scale items that are
brought in to the facility on a truck or van must be looked in with CMA for prior approval with Gold and Diamond Park
Management. Deliveries of equipment should be limited to early morning, evening and weekend hours if possible.
