Endorsement of Jack Christie for Houston City Councilman

Whereas:

Jack Christie, Houston City Councilman in At-Large Position 5, is

a businessman who previously served as a member of the Texas
State Board of Education and as a Trustee of the Spring Branch
Independent School District; and,

Whereas:

Christies efforts as a City Councilman have delivered efficiency

and growth to the City of Houston: his accomplishments include
allowing international flights out of Hobby Airport, identifying
cost savings opportunities in health benefit plans, and bringing
the City of Houston and Harris County together to share
services; and,

Whereas:

If he wins another term, Jack Christie will continue to be an

enormous asset to the taxpayers and citizens of Houston; and,

Whereas:

In his re-election campaign, Jack Christie has advanced to the

City of Houston runoff, which will take place on December 12,
2015.

Be it resolved:
That the Harris County Republican Party hereby endorses
Jack Christie for re-election to the position of Houston City
Councilman (At-Large #5); and,
Be it resolved:
That the Harris County Republican Party is authorized by
its Executive Committee to use the resources at its disposal to
support Jack Christies campaign for Houston City Council
during the 2015 Runoff Election.
