A: Copy the following passage, punctuating correctly:

peter fortune was ten years old he lived in a house with his mother father and sister in a street that
had many other residents amongst them was mrs goodgame an old lady who irritated peter in the
same way that kenneth the baby who came to visit him had during the course of the novel we
discover that mrs goodgame is actually soapy sam in other words she is the burglar who has been
robbing the houses on peters street we also find out that peter is definitely a dreamer and he has a
very vivid imagination he takes on the shape of many creatures in the book in one chapter he
becomes a cat in another he transforms into a baby and in another he is an adult at the end of the
book we have seen peter encounter many adventures and we realise as the title suggests the book
itself is a daydream

was already quarter to. She raced along the pavement passing all of her friends
houses and nerly breaking her shoes heel only to arrive at the gates of the school
just as the schools minibus was pulling away. All Mrs Fortunes worries had been
pointless. Its too late! she cried.
