Who should decide whats scary?

Since we have evaluated Steven Kings own essay on the subject of

who should decide what children watch on TV (and if you havent
completed the evaluation sheetget it done), the final step for the
essay is writing your own response.
So in one or two complete paragraphs, please argue who should
decide what is ok for children to watch on TV. You are welcome
to agree with Steven King, oppose him or come up with a third idea
you will not be penalized for your opinion as long as you have one
(within reason).
Scoring for the open response will be for the (minimum of) 3
pieces of persuasive evidence you provide to prove your
argument. You need to use at least one example of logos (logical
persuasion) and at least one example of pathos (emotional
persuasion). The third piece of evidence can be an additional
element of logos or pathos, or if youre feeling crazy, ethos (ethical
persuasion and it most certainly can be done).
The open response is due Monday, February 13.
Scoring:
Essay has an intro sentence with a claim: 1-3
One element of logos: 1-5
One element of pathos: 1-5
Third piece of evidence: 1-5
Conclusion sentence that wraps up argument: 1-3
