Technology Presentation
The History Channel is producing a series of European History for Kids. They
have posted a call for proposals for individual episodes on the Script Writers
Guild website. Your scriptwriting team will submit a proposal to the Youth
Programming Producers for a series of episodes based on your topic areas.

The Process

1. You will be partnered with someone who is an expert on an area of the

same time period as you are.
2. You will discuss how to meld your topics into a smooth, interesting series
to propose to the History Channel Youth Programming Producers.
3. You will record your ideas on the Tech Planning Sheet and have it
approved by Mrs. Lynch.
4. You and your partner will work together to produce the required
materials.

Required Materials

A successful proposal to the History Channel will include:

1. A Complete Outline for the show, including actors to be cast, setting,

and costumes. This will be typed and turned in on _______________.
2. At least 2 pages of Script for the beginning of the episode. This will be
typed and turned in with the Complete Outline on _______________.
3. A technology presentation to sell your idea.
