Subject: Dismantling Old Conductor, Installation of Intermediate Pole/Tower &
Stringing of New Conductor for Remolding.

1. Shutdown request from S.E GSO IESCO vide No. 12049-55 dated 06-11-2015.
2. Your office approval No. 31-36/CEO/IESCO/M/O&M dated 06-11-2015.

It is apprised that shutdown on 132 kV transmission circuits zero point (ISD-1) - G-13 (IBG2) and NUST (NST-1) - Pirwadhi (PWD-2) grid stations has been approved from 12-112015 to 03-12-2015 from 0600 to 1800 hrs (daily basis) for subject cited purpose. However
following are the repercussions of the mentioned shut down.
1. 132kV Zero point, H-11 and I-10 grid stations will be fed through a single source of
supply i.e. 132kV Zero-point (ISD-6) ISPR circuit (E10Q1).
2. Contingency cover for supply to VVVIP Area will be reduced due to shutdown on
alternate source in case of problem on priority source.
It is therefore requested that concerned IESCO staff may please be directed to remain
alert/vigilant during the mentioned shutdown to attend/manage any abnormality on rest of
132 kV network feeding Zero Point, H-11,I-10 and Rawal grid stations.
