-Boys Town, also known as Northalsted, consists of 20, 201 people in an area of
0.829 square miles.
-The average resident age is about 32 years old

History of Boystown
-Was an extremely poor and violent neighborhood prior to the 70s
-The unofficial designation of Boys Town as an Area within Lake View date back to 1970,
residents marched here in the first annual Gay Pride Parade
-First officially recognized gay village in the United States
