BAR
King Nikolas palace was built in 1886. as a summer residence of the royal family. It is consisted
of a large palace, a little palace, a chapel, guardhouses and a winter garden,which was the present
of the Italian King Victor Emanuel. (The Local Museum Bar is situated in the palace too.)

Renowned iro set out on his first journey a 100 years ago. He operated from Bar to Virpazar
until 1959.
The Chronicle of Bar is a famous cultural and artistic manifestation which for many years
has/had been attracting the public attention with its miscellaneous and educational programme.
Interesting projects,innovations, and films make TV festival in Bar recognizable and visited.
The Olive Festivity- a fest celebrated in honor of the olive plant.Olive branches are used for
decoration,while its fruit products and oil are used as irreplaceable ingredients of the traditional
dishes.
In accordance with the local and foreign musical trands,numerous concerts and parties are being
organized outdoors in Bar during the year.
The performances of the famous musicians had made the manifestation called Ljeto sa
zvijezdama become a synonym for having a great time.
