Product Description
This display is shaped so that a semi-circle is extruded long enough to
create a rectangular base. The power switch is placed at the top of the
device, similar to that of smartphones. The display and Measure button
are both centered on the rectangular face with the company logo on the
bottom of that plane. There are several spaced grooves on the curve of
the machine behind the rectangle. This is the main frame, or the external
shell, that covers the electronic mainframe.
Operation
The operation is simple - after the power button is pressed to on, the
device is able to display the distance between the transmitter and receiver
once the Measure button is pressed.
Justification
The display and Measure button are both aligned based on the common
adaption of multimeters, which eases the actions of the user. The power
button is placed on the top of the device to familiarize the user with
his/her power switch on their smartphone. The grooves on the curve act
as pockets for the consumers fingers, allowing the device to be
ergonomically sound.
