and to create a good shopping experience.

RACE-TRACK LAYOUT
It is a type of store design that provides major aisle
to facilitate customer traffic, with access to
multiple entrances of the store.

This aisle loops through the store, providing access


to all departments, it encourages impulse
purchasing. That is why it is also known as “LOOP”
layout.
MERCHANDISE ASSORTMENT
It is an offering to the customers to choose from

different sizes, brands, colors, designs & prices in one


location


It is the no. of different items in a
merchandise category.

Merchandise assortment of the store is very good


they carry the width as well as the depth of the


products in each category.

It is basically the way of displaying the products and
services in the attractive manner to communicate with the
customers, which are offered by the Store.

The pantaloons uses Graphics such as Photo panels,


mannequins which add personality & beauty to the store’s
image.

They also use trendy Signage to attract the


customer.
They also highlight their merchandise by the use of light &
Bold graphic Posters hung from the ceilings, which provides
information.

• They carry two types of Merchandise category
– Fashion Merchandise
– Seasonal Merchandise
FASHION MERCHANDISE : Merchandise related
to the fashion which is in trend.
-They also use the strategy of FASHION FRIDAY.

SEASONAL MERCHANDISE : Merchandise which


change according to the seasonal changes.
-Eg : Winter wears & Summers
CONSUMER PROFILE
They target the market of middle to upper middle
class income group.
Because the number of members of these groups
are maximum.
That is why the price range of pantaloons is in
between Rs. 399-3999.
They also offers different discounts and attractive
schemes to encourage these groups to purchase
more often.
