OUR CRIME INVESTIGATION

By: Bun Phorn,,Rebecca, Vatina

introduction
The crime scene happened on the 20th October, 2015 at
1:12 after we finished our lunch. We seem to hear a scream
and went to check it out. We found Ms. Michaela lying on
the floor with spilled liquid around her. She had blisters on
her lips, cuts on her body and an injured right arm. We
observed books lying on the floor near her and a wet piece
of ripped filtered paper saying ha-ha! Superheatin the
micro he wont realize it. We then began investigating
and finding out about what happened and who was the
culprit.

Clue 1
On Monday 9th , 2015 we carried out an investigation
about how the blisters were caused on her lips. We took
the liquid sample and compared the PH levels with regular
tea. We carried out the investigation 3 times to make sure
our results were accurate and reliable. The PH levels were
the same, therefore we believe the blisters were caused by
the heat of the tea.

Clue 2
The next day we carried out another investigation about
which cup Ms. Michaela was holding when the incident
happened. We took a variety of cups such as:
-Plastic cups
-Ceramic cups
-Paper cups
-Polystyrene cups
To see which cup was the best insulator of heat. Our
results have shown us that the best heat insulator cup was
the ceramic cup.

Clue 3
The next day, after the cup experiment, we carried out
another investigation about which shoes Ms. Michaela was
wearing the day the crime happened. We chose a variety of
shoes and carried out an investigation. We did this by
tilting a plank of wood to the wall, slid the shoes and
measured which shoes had the most friction. Our results
has shown us that the trainers had the most friction and
the sandals had the least friction, therefore we believe that
Ms. Michaela was wearing sandals.

Clue 4
It was our final day of investigating. It was Wednesday 11th,
2015 when we were investigating which pen the culprit
used to write the mysterious note found near the crime
scene. We first took a variety of pens wrote the exact same
text that was written on the note and dipped it into water.
We had observed that pen 2 (horse pen) looked most like
the original when it was dipped in the water, therefore we
think that the culprit used the horse pen.

Suspect
We had been choosing a variety of suspects we think
committed the crime such as:
-Ms. Shona
-Mr. Ibon
-Ms. Jo
We had to think if the clues were linking. Our main suspect
is Ms. Jo, mainly to the fact that Ms. Michaela had
accidently burnt Ms. Jo in the past. However we also think
its Ms. Shona because we found some suspicious flip flops
lying on her desk, which might have belonged to Ms.
Michaela.

What we think happened

We think that it was Ms Shona because she did not seem to
appear down-stairs with all the other teachers, after a loud
ear breaking scream. The story is, that Ms Shona and Ms
Michaela had a fall out. On the day of the incident Ms.
Michaela made a cup of tea and was walking out of the
staff room then Ms Shona pushed her and she fell over so
fast because her shoes had very little amount of friction.
She fell a bit to the side and that is why she had a bad
injury on her right arm. Ms. Shona then scraped the mug
pieces away, stole her shoes and acted normally as if
nothing had happened.
