Grading Criteria
The posting is well written, relevant and introduces a clear
perspective on the topic. It is original and stimulates further thought
and is often supported by real-life examples. A significant number of
the key points from the trainer notes (if available) are mentioned.
Evidence of wider reading may be present. The posts will show
evidence of engaging with the learning
materials and other forum postings and builds on what has already
been said.
The posting lacks at least one of the above qualities but still stands as
a useful contribution to the discussion. Some key points from the
trainer notes (if available) are mentioned.
The posting adds something to the discussion but lacks cohesion and
a logical order, therefore making it difficult to read. Few key points
from the trainer notes (if available) are mentioned.
The posting can tend to repeat what has been said by the tutor or
peers and adds little or nothing to the existing body of knowledge.
However, it shows a
commitment to engagement with coursemates and general
participation
The comment adds nothing to the discussion e.g. Yes I agree or
plagiarises from others.
