(e.g., home appliances, phones, computers, transportation).
Objective: Using materials within the classroom, students will be able
to create, label, and describe technology used in the home and how it
is beneficial to people and their everyday lives 100 percent accuracy.
Summative Assessment: The students will create a list of
technology used within their house. The teacher will then check the
list to make sure they have appropriate technology that was previously
talked about. When the students are ready to move one, they will then
create a blue print of their house, identifying where the technology is
and how it helpful to people. The teacher will provide materials that
are necessary and will be accessible to students during the creation of
the project. The project will be done in class and student objectives will
be given to each student so they understand the expectations. After
the blue print is done, the students will be able to create their own
technology system/ model that they will be able to design. They will
explain this creation in 2-3 sentences and be able to discuss why it is
helpful to people.

equipment within their home 5/ 5 times.

poster board to help create your blue print. Be creative and design
your house based upon the technologys location.

your own. Brainstorm and decide which type of project (piece of
technology) you will be creating. Use your imagination and create
something that will be useful to the everyday life. You can present this
