Why did I chose

Leonardo Da Vinci?

I chose Leonardo Da Vici because he is a great inspiration to

me, his paintings have great emotion and detail. He was a
inspiration because he was a poor child and he became the
best artist of his time. My favorite picture he did was the sketch
of his flying machine in his notebook.

I chose Pablo Picasso because he is my role
model towards art. Picasso likes to draw with
passion, and I adore that. Like Picasso, I like to
use different colors and it not only describes the
artists feel, it also brings feel to the
picture/drawing. Picasso is a is a great artist and
he is my idol in terms of art.

T.V shows such as, My Lilttle Pony: Friendship is

Imaginary Friends.

I chose Lauren Faust because...

I chose Lauren Faust for my artist report because she is a very
talented and creative artist. Her animation is flawless and her art style is
wonderful. I especially love how she uses digital art instead of traditional art.
Fausts writing is also very entertaining and sometimes heartwarming. I love
her writing and art style, and I aspire to do what she does someday.

Daviss work

Justin
I chose Jim Davis because, I chose Jim Davis because he is a comic artist and I read his comics all the time, I think my
favorite ever was last thursdays comic strip where Garfield said I think we should take separate vacations this year so
we can have fun, I will have fun because you will not be there! and Jon Frowns. I also chose Jim Davis because I
admire him, after his comic Gnorm Gnat failed to sell as a syndicate, he didnt give up. He rethought his situation, and
instead of deciding on quitting he made Garfield The lazy lasagna-eating cat owned by Jon Arbuckle. I think that Jim
Davis is a good artist, comedian, and businessman. Jim Davis is a role model, not just to me, but to other artists out
there in the world, I think we can all learn something from this man, that would be not to give up on anything, our
dreams, our hopes, our goals, our friends, our family, on Garfield being funny every morning, but most importantly on
yourself. If Jim Davis did that hed be a random dude that youd see walking around every morning in Albany, and he
wouldnt be in this report, but what made him special was, he didnt quit, he pushed harder, and harder, and harder,
until he reached his goal, and if everybody in the United States does that, us Americans would be alot happier, for
example, I want to be president, so I run for president, again and again until some rule says I cant anymore, or I win.
When I do I would serve my term then go skydiving in Europe (which by the way is another goal of mine) and then say I
passed my goal Ill go home and think of more. In conclusion, I think that Jim Davis was the best person for my report
because, lots of people give up, and they shouldnt! Learn from Jim Davis, dont quit, dont give up.

Why I Chose Dr.

Seuss
By: Becky Klusnick

I chose Dr. Seuss as my artist because ever since I was little I have always
loved his books and even more the illustrations. What I like most about his art is that
it is so imaginative, joyful, and bright it makes me happy inside. I also liked that he is
more of a modern and kid friendly artist from a more recent time. Lastly I obviously
had read some of his books and knew a little about him before this, but I wanted to
learn more about the great artist that is Dr. Seuss and how he became so wonderful,
talented, and well known.

Why I Chose Tim Burton by Arjan Gill

I chose Tim Burton for my artist report because he
is just incredible. His art makes me think that it is okay to
be different from other people and to never hide who
you really are. His art style is also very neat to me
because I love dark and scary drawings. I am also a big
fan of all of his movies. He directed and animated my
favorite movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas, which is
a stop motion film and a musical. Tim Burton is an amazing
artist in my opinion, and nobody can replace him.

Why I Chose David Hockney By Tiffany

I chose David Hockney to be my artist because he is not only a great painter but

also a very brave man. He has done many different paintings which are actioned off
to many different people who collect art lots of money. He is brave because he
showed the world he was gay even though he knew the consequences. The world
shunned him and he still denied not being gay. Also even though most people do well
known artists like Pablo Picasso I wanted to someone different and this man is
different from your average artist. .

Why I Chose David Hockney, Gladly

I chose David Hockney to be my artist, because he is
a great painter, very brave and some people criticize
people who are openly gay, but that doesnt matter.
What really matters is who he is. David Hockney is an
awesome painter because of what he does. When he was
criticised he wasnt offended because he was brave and
now he is really famous for painting. He also has done
many different paintings like scenery paintings, pool
paintings, and much more.

Jean-Michel Basquiats
Art and My Reproduction
By: Cole Mellor

How I was Inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat

I chose Jean-Michel Basquiat because I have always been interested in graffiti. So when I
got the chance I took it. Graffiti looks really cool to me but at the same time looks
extremely difficult. Another reason was because of this quote The idea that the soul will
join with the ecstatic Just because the body is rottenThat is all fantasy. What is found
now is found then. If you find nothing now, You will simply end up with an apartment in
the City of Death.Kabir that really got to me and made me choose Basquiat. He also
just looks like and interesting person who has a big story to tell and he did. I want to see
the movie so I can get a visual of everything that happened to him in his short life.
Overall, I think I made the smart decision by choosing Basquiat and it really did pay off.

This is the picture of what he drew and who

he is.

My art and Walt Disneys art

By Nicole Altankhuyag

Why I chose Walt Disney

By Nicole Altankhuyag

I chose this artist because his character (Mickey

Mouse) is a big hit and I have always loved
Disneyland. His art expresses him and Walt
Disney is cool guy. His art is something that would
make you get off the couch and start drawing. He
inspired me a lot with just a piece of paper and
pencil which is pretty good. Disney was a great
person and other art from other artists are also
really good. Walt Disney will always be a
memorable person for everyone and people will
love his art.

Jim Davis a.k.a. Garfield.

Garfield is a comic strip that has been
published since June 19, 1978. The cat
Garfield is named after the grandfather
of Davis . As of 2013 it was began in
roughly 2,580 newspapers,also journals
this comic strip also held the Guinness
World Record of the most widely
syndicated comic strip . Garfield is set in
Munice, Indiana home of Jim Davis.
Some of Garfields common themes are
his laziness obsessive eating, and
disdains of Mondays and and diets.

Walt Disney
Walt Disneys work
By: Charlie Acquisto

Why I admire Walt Disney

Walt Disney is important to me because he inspires me
to do the things I dont want to do when I dont think I
can do them. For example: I didnt want to ski down a
black diamond, but I did and I loved that I had gotten
past that problem. I chose him because he drew more
than 500 cartoons and each of them kept me
laughing all the way through. The reason I admire his
work so much is because he started with just a
orrlinally and a piece of paper and he became the
most famous movie maker of our time.

Why I chose Titian

I choose to research about Titian because his name sounded really cool. Titians painting had lots of color
which stood out to me so I chose him. His name wasnt that complex like other artists, plus he painted a lot of
pictures so I have a large variety to choose from. Once I started researching him I liked learning about him. His
painting make me jealous because his art is weird but cool and painting is really hard and his art is awesome. My
favorite of his paintings are his self-portraits, this is because they look funny sometimes and they are about other
famous people in other places. If I were to get one of his paintings it would be a hard choice because he painted
so many of them, plus the self-portraits are the ones that stand out to me. I wanted to choose someone that I
haven't heard of so not everyone would do the same one as me like Van Gogh. Titian was really cool to learn about
and I really liked this project.

I Chose COMBO because

I chose COMBO because his art is unique. It
has the best of both worlds. He brings together
the real world and the cartoon world to create
new imagery that I find really cool. He uses his
street art to promote social causes. Hes been
doing graffiti art in France since 2003.

Why Pierre Auguste Renoir's art inspired me

Eysha Rasul
Pierre Auguste Renoirs art was truly amazing. The
way the colors blended together yet it stilled looked
realistic. Also the fact that he kept on painting with
arthritis during the last years of his life is just so
amazing to me! He was also a huge leading impression
artist!

Why i chose to to write about walt disney

I chose to write about Walt disney because he is very inspirational

and a role model to children all over the world. He has also inspired
me.All of his films and when we started the artist reports i knew
that Walt Disney would be the perfect choice for this project. Walt
disney made himself known all over the world for hard work; and
from never giving up. Another reason i chose Walt Disney because he
was what people call one in a million because even when you would
spend hours working on one of his drawings you could never get one
exactly like his.because they were so unique and just pure genius.
Walt Disney has changed my view on art and he has taught me that
every drawing is unique and could not be the same. now i think of art
as a snowflake everyone is as unique as it chooses to be.

The reason why I picked Tom Bunk was because when I
was 7 or 8 I would always put the t.v. on with my brother
and watched the most popular show called Mad. But the
main reason why I chose Tom Bunk was because I really
like cartoons and I like funny, weird cartoons as well. I
know that Tom Bunk has amazing design, characters, and
images in his cartoons and his t.v. shows. That was why I
picked him and did my report on him.

Why I chose Masashi Kishimoto:

Ivan Lee

The reason I chose Masashi Kishimoto is because I enjoy watching

and reading the Naruto series. In addition the storyline is based on part of
Masashis experience as a father. For example he made the character
Naruto meet his parents. Everything he draws makes me want to draw
myself. The characters from Naruto make jutsu symbols with hand
motions. I like the different jutsu and all the graphics of them. My favorite
part is when I see lightning because it is in different shapes, sizes, and
brightness.

Why I Was Inspired to Choose By:

Masashi Kishimoto

The reason I chose Masashi Kishimoto is because his art has always
interested me. Another reason is because I think his books are good examples
of action and mystery adventures. Another reason I like him is because his art
inspires me to try and draw anime animals and people. My final reason I like
him is because I like how he sometimes puts emotion into his art. His art
inspires me to influence my friends into reading anime. It also inspires me to
draw pictures of landscapes and people.

I chose Edgar Mueller because his art stands out. When
Edgar Mueller makes his art he puts a lot of effort into it so

because his artwork is illusional, not only that but he does a
really good job of what he makes when he makes it, it really
stands out and is something that I think the whole world
deserves to see.

simple. I like when he makes his work mimic
childrens work. My favorite piece is the one I
did my reproduction with. It is called Angels
