<-------------------- Jim
Daviss work
Justin
I chose Jim Davis because, I chose Jim Davis because he is a comic artist and I read his comics all the time, I think my
favorite ever was last thursdays comic strip where Garfield said I think we should take separate vacations this year so
we can have fun, I will have fun because you will not be there! and Jon Frowns. I also chose Jim Davis because I
admire him, after his comic Gnorm Gnat failed to sell as a syndicate, he didnt give up. He rethought his situation, and
instead of deciding on quitting he made Garfield The lazy lasagna-eating cat owned by Jon Arbuckle. I think that Jim
Davis is a good artist, comedian, and businessman. Jim Davis is a role model, not just to me, but to other artists out
there in the world, I think we can all learn something from this man, that would be not to give up on anything, our
dreams, our hopes, our goals, our friends, our family, on Garfield being funny every morning, but most importantly on
yourself. If Jim Davis did that hed be a random dude that youd see walking around every morning in Albany, and he
wouldnt be in this report, but what made him special was, he didnt quit, he pushed harder, and harder, and harder,
until he reached his goal, and if everybody in the United States does that, us Americans would be alot happier, for
example, I want to be president, so I run for president, again and again until some rule says I cant anymore, or I win.
When I do I would serve my term then go skydiving in Europe (which by the way is another goal of mine) and then say I
passed my goal Ill go home and think of more. In conclusion, I think that Jim Davis was the best person for my report
because, lots of people give up, and they shouldnt! Learn from Jim Davis, dont quit, dont give up.
I chose Dr. Seuss as my artist because ever since I was little I have always
loved his books and even more the illustrations. What I like most about his art is that
it is so imaginative, joyful, and bright it makes me happy inside. I also liked that he is
more of a modern and kid friendly artist from a more recent time. Lastly I obviously
had read some of his books and knew a little about him before this, but I wanted to
learn more about the great artist that is Dr. Seuss and how he became so wonderful,
talented, and well known.

also a very brave man. He has done many different paintings which are actioned off
to many different people who collect art lots of money. He is brave because he
showed the world he was gay even though he knew the consequences. The world
shunned him and he still denied not being gay. Also even though most people do well
known artists like Pablo Picasso I wanted to someone different and this man is
different from your average artist. .

Jean-Michel Basquiats
Art and My Reproduction
By: Cole Mellor
I chose Jean-Michel Basquiat because I have always been interested in graffiti. So when I
got the chance I took it. Graffiti looks really cool to me but at the same time looks
extremely difficult. Another reason was because of this quote The idea that the soul will
join with the ecstatic Just because the body is rottenThat is all fantasy. What is found
now is found then. If you find nothing now, You will simply end up with an apartment in
the City of Death.Kabir that really got to me and made me choose Basquiat. He also
just looks like and interesting person who has a big story to tell and he did. I want to see
the movie so I can get a visual of everything that happened to him in his short life.
Overall, I think I made the smart decision by choosing Basquiat and it really did pay off.

The reason why I picked Tom Bunk was because when I
was 7 or 8 I would always put the t.v. on with my brother
and watched the most popular show called Mad. But the
main reason why I chose Tom Bunk was because I really
like cartoons and I like funny, weird cartoons as well. I
know that Tom Bunk has amazing design, characters, and
images in his cartoons and his t.v. shows. That was why I
picked him and did my report on him.
My work
Masashi Kishimoto
The reason I chose Masashi Kishimoto is because his art has always
interested me. Another reason is because I think his books are good examples
of action and mystery adventures. Another reason I like him is because his art
inspires me to try and draw anime animals and people. My final reason I like
him is because I like how he sometimes puts emotion into his art. His art
inspires me to influence my friends into reading anime. It also inspires me to
draw pictures of landscapes and people.
