Cliven Bundy led a rally in support of a bill that would prohibit any federally-owned public land in Nevada unless authorized by the state legislature. The bill would require opening treasured parks and conservation areas to mining, grazing, logging and other commercial ventures. Assemblywoman Michele Fiore co-sponsored the bill, called the "Bundy Bill," from start to finish. A group is urging people to call Fiore's office and ask her to protect public lands in the future instead of supporting bills that open them to commercial uses.

On March 31st, 2015, Cliven Bundy led a rally in Carson City supporting a bill that would prohibit any nationally-owned public land in Nevada unless authorized by the Legislature. The bill required the state to open our treasured parks and conservation areas to mining, grazing, logging and other private, commercial ventures. Unfortunately, Assemblywoman Fiore co-sponsored the Bundy Bill from start to finish.1 We can do better. Please call (702) 500-0407. Tell Michele Fiore next time, stand up for our families outdoor heritage and vote to protect our public lands! 1. Assembly Bill 408: https://leg.state.nv.us/App/NELIS/REL/78th2015/Bill/2042/Overview
