Recently legally acquired an abandoned property by locating the homeowner and asking what they were going to do with property. When they replied they didn't want it anymore and had discharged the debt in bankruptcy I asked if I could have it with a quit claim deed and Power of attorney to negotiate with mortgage company, which they happily agreed and wished me luck. After realizing that the statue of Limitation on the collection of the debt expired I decided to try my luck with a lawsuit. For me this is another epic David and Goliath battle. This is an exciting new venture for me and will update as this case progresses. Hopefully the bank will release the lien and we can settle for a nominal amount.
