ANALYST'S NOTE: House Bill 141 requires that counties must inform property owners of any property
tax delinquencies and that the counties may not assess penalties and interest unless such notifications
are sent.

ANALYSIS: House Bill 141 modifies Section 63-907, Idaho Code, to require that "within thirty
(30) calendar days of a property tax becoming delinquent, the county must send notification to
the owner of the property and, if notification is not sent, the county may not assess penalties
and interest to the property." (+1)
