Calculator Steps to Create a Sequence of Values in a Table

These steps will demonstrate how to be able to make a table in your calculator that will
identify all of the term values of a sequence if the sequence continued forever.

Press Mode
Go to the 4th row and move from Func to Seq
Press Y =
(It is going to look different then normal!!)
Type in your nMin (This is the term you want to start atwe normally use 1)
Type in your u(nMin) (This is the first term of your sequence!!)
Type in your u(n) (This is your explicit or recursive formula for your sequence!!)
Press 2nd then Graph (This should bring up your table!!)
You should now be able to move your arrow keys up and down to find a specific term of
a sequence.

Notes: When you are typing in your sequence, you must use the letters that they tell you to
use

If you want to type in an explicit formula, you will type it in just like it looks.
If you want to type in a recursive formula, you need to type in the correct symbols
for the previous term. In this case it will look like u(n 1)
- Type u (which you get when you press 2nd then 7)
- Open your parenthesis
- Type n 1
- Close your parenthesis.
