Reteach (alternative used as needed): Pull a small group, and reread the
text together. Then we would do a double bubble map together.
Closure:
Come back together, and have them share the two snakes that they choose. Then they are
to share a cool similarity or difference of their snake.

Modifications/Notes:
SPED: Their double bubble map premade. They have word bank for it. The word bank
would be separated by the species. This way all they have to do is fill out the map.

What are some of the snakes mentioned in the text?
Is a Mountain King Snake venomous or nonvenomous? How do you know?
What is an interesting fact of the Western Diamond-Backed Rattlesnake?
What is something interesting of a Desert Threadsnake?
