Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add coconut slices and saute.
When it starts to brown slightly , add onions and saute until they are transparent. Add ginger, garlic, green chilies and curry leaves to this and saute for a couple of minutes. Add chopped tomato and saute for 3-4 minutes or till the tomato is mashed properly. Then add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilly powder, pepper powder and Garam masala and saute it for 2-3 minutes, until the raw smell goes. Now add Mutton to this and mix well. Add salt, water and close the pressure cooker. After 3 whistles, put it on low flame for about 15 to 20 minutes or till the mutton is nicely cooked. Open the cooker after the pressure is all gone. If the gravy is not thick, place the opened cooker on a medium flame till the gravy is thick. Garnish with coriander leaves.
