    Sir:
    Good day! I, Marc Dared F. Cagaoan, a fourth year Bachelor of Science in Civil
    Engineering student has been informed that the university is offering the
    Presidential scholarship to students who have been performing very well in
    their academics. Thus, this letter serves to show my intent to apply for the
    Presidential scholarship for the second semester of AY 2015 2016.
    The said scholarship will greatly help me and my family in my studies
    specifically in the financial aspect. It is due to the fact that aside from me,
    my sibling is also studying in the university. Moreover, being granted the said
    scholarship will make me strive even more in having good grades then
    eventually being a full-pledged civil engineer in the future.
    I believe my performance in the university especially during the first
    semester of my fourth year makes me suitable to apply for the scholarship.
    Attached with this letter is my copy of grades since my first semester in the
    university.
