Team presentation outline

Team name: Team CP


Members & roles:
Harold Harding: Presents and creates the introduction
Poliana Paulucci:Presents and creates the conclusion
Celeste Costabile: Presents and creates the body
This project will be completed as a tandem effort with each person taking a role. We will
schedule in team assignments ahead of the real due date. It will be a google slide presentation
that we will work on our parts. Afterward we will translate it to powerpoint, and form a script.
All before November 30th when our dress rehearsal is.
Presentation title: Habibs across the globe
Thesis statement: Habibs should make the transition oversea to china where there is an
increasing market for their product
Intro:

Who here eats out or orders delivery?
You guys are busy so you eat out or orders fast food. Well habibs is one of those fast food
restaurants, but with an middle eastern twist. It sells your normal food pizza, burgers, fries.
However it also sells Hamus, Kibe, and kafta which are some of its middle eastern dishes.
2. Establish credibility
Habibs has been in business since 1988 and has expanded to have 475 outlets throughout south
america and mexico. It prides itself for its fast service and affordability. Habibs has been very
popular in Brazil and had managed to expand across south america and mexico. Now habibs is
stretching further to tackle a relatively open and growing market.
3. Preview of presentation
That market is china, the world's most populous country. China a place with a lot of people all
who are busy and on the go. These busy people are looking for good food fast. Habibs delivers
figuratively and literally. A lack of related competition is also a bonus for Habibs in this market.
Tying with the fact that you have somewhat starved market for a middle eastern fast food market.

Body

China's increasing imports of meat and dairy.


A. These past couple of years, China has heavily increased their
imports on meats and dairies.
B. By increasing their imports, the quantity of meats and dairy
increased which means the demand increases as well.
1. Increase in demand means the price of the product
will increase.
C. Urban cities are increasing their demand for meats and dairies the
most.

Habibs is known for their good quantity as well as their low prices with
specializing in meat and dairy.
A. With the economy increasing the demand and price for meats and
dairy, having an Habibs located in China would offer citizens a high quality mean
for cheap, which is what people will look for because of the sudden hike in prices.
B. The restaurant sells all different kinds of meats, burgers, and other
meals. By placing this restaurant in China, the Franchise will receive a lot of
revenue because of the want China has for the low priced products that Habibs
sells.
C. Target Locations would be Shanghai, Guangzhou, or Beijing
because they are urban cities with demands for meat and dairy and also contain a
large population.

Opening a foreign restaurant in China by learning the correct etiquette and eating
habits.
A. Eating habits and budget spending of the Chinese are different than
most countries. Adapting and knowing that the Chinese is very conservative with
their food. They compare food to their own cultured food.
1. They also would rather spend less money, so the
price for the Chinese is very important
2. They prefer to pay with cash and will withdraw
money from their bank to then pay the person or business with straight
cash no matter the price.
B. Etiquette for business start-up in China
1. Get to know the Chinese and try to develop a good
relationship. Business meetings or relationships are made after the Chinese
has a good understanding of who you are.
2. Communication is key when it comes to business in
China. Keep communicating but in a patient and organized manner.
3. Send materials or business ideas before meeting
with the Chinese so they are prepared for the meeting.
4. Handshakes are the most important part of meeting
and the oldest person in the room is who is supposed to be greeted first.

Conclusion
The innovative franchise system, accessible prices and the concept of food quality
standard stands out in the market. Winning over more and more customers with its fast service
and varied food. Habibs Powers entrepreneurship, and innovation in its markets. The company
has built a success story that has won several awards over the years. Habib's being recognized
by the high level of training of its employees and high index of approval from consumers. When
you take Habibs, a successful company, and move it to a growing market such as china. You
establish an even larger global presence. Creating room for future expansions to other countries
as well.
