Its Not Just About the Turkey

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and

confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each
day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker
on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional.
At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion
and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks
Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in
the foyer of Power Source.

Father God,
I come to you with my heart full of thanks. Thank you
for my parents, teachers, Pastor Ron, and his family. Help
them to be filled with the knowledge of Your will (Col.
1:9). Forgive me when I make bad choices. Help me to
obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will
live a long life on the earth. I will tell others how great
You are and how much I love you. Thank you that because
of the stripes on Jesus back, I am healed and whole.

David woke up so excited. He was King of Israel and

today the Ark of the Covenant was being brought back to
Israel. David was grateful to God and full of praise. Even
as a young shepherd boy he had spent his days praising
God. Now as a young man and king, it didnt matter who
was around or who was watching. He was so thankful to
God, that David began to dance and praise God with all
of his heart. 2 Samuel 6

Psalm 95:2
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let
us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.
