Lutheran World Mission Prayer Needs

Thanksgiving
1. We thank God for the many youths who had prayed to receive Jesus
into their lives during the August 15-16 combined youth camp at
Kampong Speu attended by about 800 youths. Out of the 150
youths from Krus Village, 46 prayed to give their lives to Jesus, and
from the 130 from Phnom Penh, a total of 40 (3 from Rainbow
Hostel) also received Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour.
Pray for close follow-up on these new converts
Pray for the preparation of these new converts for baptism end of
the year

2. The good Human Resource training (photo below) conducted by one of

LWM Board members to prepare for the leadership transition due to
personnel movement (Ps Daniel leaving for theological education).
The 2nd part of the training will be from Oct 11 to 15
The final part of the training during the Staff planning retreat in
December

LCC City Church and Rainbow Hostel

For the students at the hostel as most would begin their new
academic year in September
For the various language classes by LCC City Church and Rainbow
Hostel as part of its community outreach program
For the various planning and preparation for more outreach
programs to the community
LCC Krus Church and Life Centre
1. For smooth transition of ministry and leadership at LCC Krus Church
from Ps Daniel Orn to Ps Mose Lat from October 2013
For Ps Daniel Orn as he and his family prepares themselves to
move to Phnom Penh in September to start of his theological
training at Phnom Penh Bible School from October. For Sreypov
(Ps Daniels wife) as she furthers her studies and take up some

ministry courses. Two of

their younger children
(David and Christian) will be
placed under the care of his
parents in Seam Reap during
this period. Noami (oldest
child) will also start her
grade 1 education in Phnom
Penh
For Ps Mose and his family
as they move back to Life
Centre and take charge of
the ministry at LCC Krus
Church. Pray for Laiheat (Ps Moses wife) who is now in charge of
the Sunday School ministry
