TYPE OF ACTIVITY: Arts and Crafts

OBJECTIVES

1. To share among one another each of their family members.

2. To see how much the family is being valued.
3. To remind each other that their family is a blessing to them
and that they too are blessings to their family.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

Family picture (children should be advised to bring their

family pictures before the session)
Art materials
Paper or cardboard (for frame)

DYNAMICS:

1. Ask the children to bring out their family pictures. Using the
art materials available let them make a picture frame with
their family portrait at the center as creative as possible. For
those who were not able to bring their family picture, let
them draw their family at the center of the picture frame
they made.
2. Have some sharing among each other describing their
families. Introduce each family member including each ones
unique trait.

2. Our family is a blessing to us. We can choose our friends but

we cannot choose our family because they are Gods gift to
us.
3. Love was first felt in our family. Whether we like it or not,
we should still be obedient and loving to our parents and
siblings.
