IES is a website that presents
information on connecting
research, policy and practice
within the U.S. Department of
Education. IES conducts six
broad types of work that
address school readiness and
education throughout all ages
from infant through adulthood.
The six areas of work include:
-Providing data that describes
how well the U.S. is educating
its students, Conduct surveys
and sponsor research projects
to understand where education
needs improvement and how
these improvements might be
made, Funding development
and rigorous testing of new
approaches for improving
education outcomes for all
students, Conduct large-scale
evaluations of federal
education programs and
policies, Provide resources to
increase use of data and

research through specialized

training and development of
methods and measures. The
intended audience is teachers
and people interested in the
U.S. education system. It
would be helpful for a teachers
within my field in any grade in
order to assess how the U.S.
education system is doing, and
how they can improve it
within their own classroom.
This website is the primary
federal entity for collecting
and analyzing data related to
education in the U.S. NCES
fulfills a congressional
mandate to collect, collate,
analyze and report complete
statistics on the condition of
American education. Teachers
within various grade levels of
my field would use this to
assess the success of the U.S.
school systems and beyond.
The targeted audience is for
educators, to know if they are
doing a good job at prepping
their students for the future.

School house technology is a

website that allows educators
to create printable worksheets,
activities and tests for a wide
range of students levels and
abilities. The aim of the
website is for educators.
Within my field and any grade
level, this would be a very
useful website as it is also
conducive to a differentiated
classroom which is very
helpful because of the
opportunity it has for the
educator to appropriately
educate all levels of learners
within one classroom.
This website is something like
a dream for educators
everywhere, of all grade
levels, and within all subjects.
The website provides
everything from grab-and-go
lesson plans, daily starters,
discussion guides, and themes
for classroom teaching from
grades of pre-K through 12.
This is such a great instrument
for teachers as it is easy access
to so much for any classroom
allowing the teacher ample

time for planning and prep.

The Crayola website has more
than just simply crayons! It
turns out that there is an entire
tab designated to educators.
The tab offers: Lesson Plans,
Creative Activities, as well as
professional resourcesmeaning workshops and
videos. This website is a great
tool for educators within the
elementary departments. It is a
website that can reignite
inspiration, creativity, and
passion for teachers within the
younger grades. The
demographic that the website
aims to appeal to is all!
Crayola is such a broad
company providing resources
for educators within all areas,
as well as students.

This website offers an

overview of their writing
model provided on their site:
6+1 it also provides
workshops for teachers to
teach the model and to give
feedback to students in
effective ways. They also
provide lesson plans, writing
prompts, and rubrics, as well
as writing samples to practice
scoring and see how other
teachers scored the same
writing piece. This site seems
to be aimed towards educators
teaching in a language arts
based class, but seems to also
be for future educators who
want to practice scoring papers
and giving feedback!
This website is a computer
application which provides a
library of uniquely interactive
virtual manipulatives for k-12
mathematics instruction. The
features of the site include:
Print Image, Save Work,
Configure, and Make an
activity. Which makes this site
not only one that is helpful for
math teachers, but also

students working within a

math class.

http://www.teachertube.com/

Figment is a site that allows

writers to post their work, to
receive criticism, and to read
others comments. This is a
great vessel to use as a
creative writing teacher within
a high school as the students
can receive feedback from
other students with genuine
critiques and encouragement
of their writings, therefore
progressing your students
writing through a vessel other
than the teacher themselves.
This website is most aimed
towards students, but cant be
denied as a great tool for
educators in writing.
Teacher tube is a great source
for instructional videos
provided for educators within
a filtered environment. Here,
teachers themselves can post
videos with fun mottos, or

songs, on how to teach various

topics as well as instructional
videos that educators can use
in class. This website is very
clearly aimed for teachers
within any grade level as there
are videos for concepts taught
in elementary schools to
concepts taught within high
school.
This website provides Teacher
resources and professional
development across the
curriculum. The website itself
provides videos for teachers
on teaching measurement,
writing workshops and much
more. The mission of the
website is to Advance
Excellent Teaching in
American Schools. The
website does this by funding
and distributing multimedia
resources for teachers to teach
their subjects as well as
staying up-to-date in their
fields. The website is geared
towards teachers within any
grade level, they put the
teacher in the learners place,
but also provide it for students.
