To Whom It May Concern
I am writing this reference letter to support a very deserving young lady. I have had the pleasure of being Meghans coach
and to sit on a board that employed her during her high school career. She was a leader in the athletic arena as well as in her
position of Recreational Programmer. Meghan works extremely hard at all tasks she takes on and is willing to try just about
anything.
She really is an all-round athlete and a coachs dream. Meghan was an integral part of a very successful basketball team and
a strong soccer team under my watch. She was a quiet leader, and her teammates respected her. They looked up to her,
asked her for assistance and followed her lead.
Not only is Meghan an amazing athlete but she is an amazing student as well. She always strives for high grades and does
not settle for less. She worked hard during lunch hour, before and after sports practices, and during the down time on long
trips as well as class time. She knows how to prioritize in order to achieve the high standards she sets for herself. I know
she will be successful.
Working at the Recreation Centre here in Rainy River, Meghan was part of team that delivered programing for the citizens
of Rainy River. She planned, organized, and delivered childrens programing, assisted with community events, and the
daily up keep of the centre. Meghan was extremely good at accessing risks associated with activities, and planning for
contingencies (weather, emergencies, etc.). Her amazing organizational skills made sure all bases were covered. Her
creative personality and willingness to try new things brought in many new participants and kept them coming. Meghan
would also pitch in where ever needed, including scrubbing bathrooms, running a canteen, and getting the baseball field
ready for a tournament. Meghan was a great employee and I would hire her again without question.
