Teach at Blackburn

Blackburn College invites applications for a full-time, tenuretrack position in Computer Science beginning Fall 2013. The
position involves teaching a variety of undergraduate computer
science courses in an ACM/IEEE-compliant curriculum. Small
classes, required student research, and the nations only studentmanaged Work Program provide opportunities to mentor
undergraduates in a variety of contexts. The normal teaching
load is 12 hours each semester.
While field of specialization is open, applicants with teaching
interest in web and platform-based development, HCI,
networking, or security are especially encouraged to apply.
Highly desirable qualifications include: Ph.D. in computer
science, strong interest in teaching and student research,
and ability to teach an introductory two-course sequence in
architecture, networks and systems.
