Winter is here...that means CHRISTMAS IS COMING!

Now that the holiday season is kicking in, the Cambie Art Club met to discuss our
plans for December. Our first official art tutorial, Art Trade, and the Art Club led
Christmas decorative display project will be happening in the next few weeks! We
are super excited to start some Christmas inspired ideas :)

Today we launched our super
exciting and fun twist on Secret
Santa: ART TRADE! It is played
off the idea of Secret Santa,
but instead of buying gifts, we
are creating and giving
priceless artwork tailored to
the art traders requests. Paper sizes will be determined soon, but for now all Secret
Art Traders are encouraged to brainstorm how they will approach the unique but
maybe daunting requests of everyone! The official Art Trade revealing will be on
Wednesday, December 16th
after school

Also our amazing fellow art enthusiast Renz will be hosting an art tutorial next week
on
Wednesday, December 2
from 3pm-5pm
! We look forward to sharpening our
technique and learning some new skills. Materials and supplies needed will be
specified soon. Everyone is welcome to drop by and join!

We are delighted to start our plans to decorate and spread the holiday joy in our
Christmas display! Not to mention triumphantly defeat Mr. Podmoroff and his
Woodworks class in the competitive dual of Christmas decor fiasco. Youre on Mr. P!
The front area of the art classrooms will be used for our creative and collective
project.

More is on the way as we continue to find more ideas to express our artistic
collaboration!
