Team Ground Rules and Guidelines


What are the general expectations for all members of the team?
Everyone will participate and contribute equal amounts of work and time. We will collaborate
our great minds for the better of the community. When meetings are specified, all group
members are expected to attend to ensure equal work between the members.
Expectations for Time Management and Involvement
(Participation, communication with the team, accessibility, etc.)
We will use group messages to determine dates and times for meetings and respond to one
another within 24 hours. We will stay on track by following the chart/calendar we compose. If
we get off track, we will work together to delegate tasks to ensure that our project is timely.
Ensuring Fair and Even Contribution and Collaboration
What strategy will you use to ensure that all team members are contributing and
collaborating appropriately? Describe the communication strategy you will use if a team
member is not contributing and collaborating effectively. How will the team manage conflicts
between team members?
We will delegate tasks early on in the project so that everyone will know what is expected of
them. Strategies we will use if people do not comply to our contract will sit down in a group

meeting so that we can go over as a group what is expected of each of us. If we are having
issues with select members of the team we will address them directly and promptly.

Special Considerations
What do you, as a team, agree will make this team experience different from past team
experiences?
To make this team experience different from past team experiences we will make sure to
stay in contact with each other and also meet at least once weekly. Open communication will
ensure that problems that usually occur, such as members not participating as much, will
not happen.

affiliations, homes, community services, and
businesses.
