not have to just memorize formulas and stick to just one. I think this would help the
students improve their thinking skills and be better problem solvers. Also, students
become critical thinkers and allow them to seek different methods when obtaining
answers. In the U.S. the teacher presents math and the students just memorize formulas
and practice the math problems. It is important for the teachers to continue the same
methods but if they let the students participate and work with different methods it would
help them to improve their thinking skills. If the students are given more opportunities to
become critical thinkers by finding different methods when obtaining answers this would
help the students to find other strategies. *
