    moreknowledgefromdoingtherecordreviewandtalkingtopast
    teachersandspecialist.WhenspeakingtotheOccupationalTherapist,I
    wasabletocollaboratewithherandcomeupwithalternatestoreplace
    theundesiredbehavior.Byconductingaliteraturereview,Iwasableto
    learnmoreaboutthestudentsundesiredbehaviorandmoreabouthis
    diagnosesofAutismSpectrumDisorder.Specifically,Ilearnedmore
    aboutsensorysensitivitiesandcommonstimmingstudentswithASD
    mayshow.
    My future students will be positively affected by my mastery of
    InTASCStandard9:ProfessionalLearningandEthicalPractice.Partof
    myjobasaSpecialEducationteacherwillbetoobserveundesired
    behaviorsofmystudents,determinethefunctionofthebehavior,and
    putapositivebehavioralsupportplaninplace.Aftercompletingthis
    projectIfeelmoreconfidentinbeingabletousetheskillsand
    knowledgeIgainedfromthisprojectinthefuture.Iwillalsobeableto
    helpmystudentswithASDdealwiththeirsensorysensitivitiesandbe
    abletoexplaintoparentswhytheirchildisdisplayingstimming
    behaviors.
