Dear Parents/Guardians,
My name is Sarah Lauer. I am a student teacher from Drake University in Iowa, which is in the Midwest of the United States.
My specializations are in reading and teaching English as an additional language.
I will be working with Mrs. Savage from October until mid-December. I will be teaching lessons across the subject areas
while I am here, both with small groups of children and with the whole class. I am so grateful to be working with your child and
his/her classmates!
I am very excited to be here in Belfast. I cannot wait to experience what P3 has to offer, and I am looking forward to sharing
stories of my life with my new students.
I am always eager to meet my new students, as I find that each has a new perspective on the world, and so much knowledge
to share. I know I will learn and grow from working with your child, as he or she will learn and grow by working with me.
If you have any questions, or wish to talk about anything with me, I will be available after school Tuesdays through
Thursdays. I am so thrilled to be working with this class of children; we will have a great ten weeks together!
