Mini Regatta

The inauguration of Boat Club was organized on Tuesday, 15th September. Due to heavy rains the
program was delayed by an hour. The inauguration showcased various boats. It started with the
Canoe pass by Amit Gupta. It was followed by the Single Skull pass by Gargya Gokhale. Next was
the Double Scull pass by Akash Kawade and Priyanka Datar followed by the Shell Pair pass by
Abhishek Zanwar and Prabodh Gawande. Next in line was the shell four pass by Mandharr
Dareykar, Vaibhav Rane, Varun Panickar and Prasad Patil. Then came the kayak passes, K1 pass by
Akshay Kedari which was followed by the K2 pass by Amod Chavan and Panjab Kawade. Then
came the K4 pass by Siddharth Waghmare, Sandip Sonawane, Abhay Hoke and Digvijay Kawale.
The passes were followed by the first show of Regatta, Shell games which showcased rowing,
organized by the 88th Regatta Shell Games Organizers.The second show was Kayak Ballet,
organized by the 88th Regatta Kayak Ballet Organizers. The mini Regatta ended with the
Telematches show organized by the 88th Regatta Telematches Organizers, concluding the program at
the Boat Club. The program resumed in the mini auditorium. The Regatta Secretary Nandan
Sukhthankar delivered a speech which was followed by the official promo video of the 88th Regatta.
This was followed by the video of Jalmaitri event which is a Boat Club initiative to clean the waters
of river Mula. Then came the promo videos of the five shows of Regatta in line, namely, Shell
Games, Kayak Ballet, Telematches, Punt Formation and Mashaal Dance. The program came to an
end after the Boat Club General Secretary Kinjal Dhole's speech who declared the Boat Club
officially open.
