2p coin-continued
Learning intentions
Students will colour and circle the correct number of 2p coins in
order to make a specific value.
Introduction
Discuss what the 2p coin is again with students. With the large 2p coins,
have students come up and make specific amounts to put in the piggy
bank using the 2p coins. Encourage students to tap it out if they feel
that they are having difficulty counting. Complete this 3 to 5 times
depending on whether additional practice is needed.
Activity
Students will complete the 2p coin worksheet. On the front they will loop
the money they need to make a specific value. On the back, students will
colour in the correct number of 2p coins to make a specific value.

If time permits, we will discuss students answers and how they came up
with them.
