We are FJ Consulting, 9 students from The Wharton School at the University of
Pennsylvania, working on a community service project as part of our Management
100 course. We are organizing a job fair on behalf of Impact Services Corporation, a
non-profit organization based in Philadelphia that seeks to empower people to reach
their fullest potential by providing necessary services to promote self-sufficiency.
Impact Services works primarily with TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy
Families) recipients, veterans and ex-offenders. The organization helps them
reintegrate into their communities by finding stable employment. Since its inception it
has placed over 26,800 participants into employment and from 2013 to 2014 has
served more than 32,625 customers.
We are writing to ask you to join us in our efforts to host a successful job fair. We
hope to attract over one hundred participants to the event. The job fair will be held
during the day on November 17th at the EARN Center, 2701 N. Broad Street
Philadelphia.
We would be incredibly thankful if you could contribute by:
- Donating food and/ or beverages to the job fair
- Donating a gift for the raffle, which will be held the day of the event
- Offering a corporate donation
- Any other form of donation, sponsorship or discount you are willing to offer
