Opening Publisher

To Open Publisher either:

Double click on the Microsoft Publisher Icon on your desktop
OR
Click on Start in the lower left hand corner of your desktop,
and select Microsoft Publisher from the list
OR
Click on Start in the lower left hand corner of your desktop
and type Publisher in the search. When it appears in the list
click on it.

When you first open Publisher, Publisher offers you a number
of different publication types to start with.
Click on the desired publication type to begin your
publication.
For the Industrial Revolution Newspaper use the following for
setting up your document.

Industrial Revolution Newspaper

1. For your Newspaper project, click on Newsletter

2. On the Built-In Templates menu, select the style for you

newsletter/newspaper

3. On the left side under Bars, change page size to One-page

spread.

4. Begin creating Newspaper

You project will open with information already placed.
This is to give you an idea of what your paper will look
like.
To edit, click on an area and replace the information
inside the box with you information.
You can cut and paste your article from your Word
Document.

 If you are creating a newspaper by yourself, then you

will want to delete some sections.
You will only want one page. So delete all
additional pages by right clicking on the page in
the left side and selecting delete.

On the template, you will want to delete any

unnecessary boxes. Right click on the box and
select delete object.
