Dear Parent / Carer

To ensure that the upcoming events at Christmas are of the highest possible standard, over the coming weeks
there are rehearsals scheduled for the pupils involved. Below is the list of dates and times of these rehearsals and
the overall arrangements for those pupils during those days:
Friday 4th December: Lessons 3, 4 & 5 for instrumentalists only in the music room.
Monday 7th December: All pupils to travel to Bryngwyn School for full day rehearsals for federation Carol
Service. (Pupils will be back in time for the buses)
Tuesday 8th December: All pupils involved to travel to Hall St. Methodist Church for full day rehearsals for
the carol service. It is essential that ALL pupils bring a packed lunch for this day. We will be returning in
time for the buses.
Wednesday 9th December: ALL pupils involved to travel to Hall St. Methodist Church for final preparations
for the evening Federation Carol Service. Pupils will be returning to Glan-y-Mr in time for lunch.
The pupils will then need to be returned to Hall St. Methodist at a time given during the Wednesday rehearsal
ready for the evening performance. All parents/carers are invited and encouraged to support their child in the
Federation Carol Service.
The Burry Port Community Carol Service will take place on Wednesday 16th December at St. Marys Church,
Burry Port. Details about rehearsals and arrangements will be shared in due course.
It is essential that your son/daughter attends all rehearsals, please complete the consent form below and return it
to the Music Department by Thursday 3rd December.
