Many thanks to the Whiting Bible Church seniors for helping to put up the Amish
porch swing, clean up from the construction mess made in the
remodeling process and working in our library and linen garage.
We have such wonderful fellowship and great work from the
folks that come.
We are finishing up some wonderful and incredible changes on our homes and property. Our third and last home to be
remodeled from the Trust fund is almost finished. Three homes this year have gotten new gas heaters, central air
conditioning, new high efficiency windows, new bathrooms and two homes received new kitchen cabinets. We are so
grateful for God's provision through the vision of the Zipf family and the Peter G. Schlotterer and Elizabeth M. Zipf
Charitable Trust Fund.
Two new gas wall heaters have been purchased and are being installed in two of the
four smaller apartments. We are getting quotes for house 130 to be converted from
an oil heater to a new gas heater and add central air. Just as the disciples did not
expect their nets to be bursting with fish after no luck all night, we were surprised by
the Lord to receive enough money in the new gas heater fund to not only get two
heating units but also enough to convert one of our homes oil heat to gas. PTL!
Finally, the playground is finished. All four donated units are up and running. We got the final swing up (an Amish two
seat porch swing for mom and dad). The children are having a blast climbing, sliding and swinging to their hearts
content.

~Pray for four-year-old Sophia. She arrived with her folks from Africa a few weeks
ago with an unknown illness. It has progressed to a point she can't stand or sit on
her own. Pray that the Doctors receive wisdom from God to quickly diagnose and
treat her condition.
~In the last few years we have lost some faithful church and individual supporters.
Pray for new monthly donors for Cedar Lane.
