Genetic Disorder Project

Project Requirements:
• You and your partner will be assigned a genetic disorder.
• Use the Internet sites to gather information about the genetic
disorder.
• Use the questions below to organize the information you find.
• Your project must include: cause of the disorder, symptoms,
treatments/management, current research regarding the disorder,
diagnosis, illustrations (include a punnett square or pedigree,
pictures of a person with the disorder, karyotype (if applicable).
• Your project should be a narrative or simulated newscast using
iMovie or Garageband. You may choose to do a very detailed multi-
page pamphlet/brochure if you work on your own on this project.
(You will need to obtain printer access during homeroom)
