My family is very generic in our roots. Like most southerners we have lived in
the south for generations especially with my family arriving to America as British
settlers. When tracing back my roots I have found that I am both Scottish and Irish
in decent, which was a very common ethnic background when it comes to settlers
(The Scots-Irish). After some research I cant be sure why my ancestors left to come
to America besides the fact that my family has always been Presbyterian so it could
have been my ancestors fleeing religious prosecution.
