Subject: Proper Maintenance

Due to recent complaints concerning the cleanliness of


the computer labs from students and faculty, we have decided
to revise our computer classroom policies. Please familiarize yourselves with the
mandatory guidelines:

Allfooditemsandbeveragesareprohibitedinsidetheclassrooms.Please
finishordisposeoftheseitemsbeforeenteringtheclassroom.
Pleasereturnallequipmenttotheirpreviousstate:
Turnoffallprojectorsandlights
Remembertosignoutofyourcomputersandequipment.
Gentlyreturnalllaptopsintothedesks.
Remembertopushthechairbackafteryoufinishyourjoborwhen
youleaveyourspot.
Disposeofallgarbagearoundyourworkstationbeforeyouleavetheroom.
RemoveallpersonalcomputeraccessoriessuchasUSBDrives,mouses,
andchargingcables.
Donotphysicallymodifyyourmachineoryourworkstation.
Donotleavethedooropenwhenyouenterorleavetheroom.
Following these guidelines would help reduce electricity costs and also provide a
cleaner working environment for everyone. Those who are caught violating the guidelines
would lose access to the computer labs. We appreciate your cooperation in following the
revised mandatory guidelines. Feel free to contact us if you feel the policies are unjust or
would like clarifications.
