Lesson Overview:

Purpose: the purpose of this assignment is to let students to be creative through

creating a short story of their choice.
Instructional Procedure/Practice: read different short stories, provide students with
picture writing prompts, YouTube video on creating short stories, read short stories
and answer question, worksheet on outlining a short story, rough draft, final short
story, and presenting short story to class
Length of Lesson: 10 days
Resources and Materials: English text book, Computer, YouTube, short story
