GATTE KI SUBZI

INGREDIENTS

1 cup gram flour tsp carom seeds tsp red chilli powder

Salt to taste 3 tbsp oil

2tsp curd

1 tsp asafoetida

1 tsp cumin seeds

1 tsp red chilli powder

1tsp turmeric powder

1 cup butter milk

1 small bunch coriander leaves


For garnishing Chopped coriander leaves as required
METHOD

In a bowl, add Gram flour, red chilli powder, salt and oil.

Now, add curd and water to it and prepare soft dough.

Roll the dough and cut it into four pieces.

Keep water to boil and add the pieces to it. Cook for around 2-3 minutes.

Now, remove the pieces from the pan and keep them in a separate plate to dry.

Heat oil in another pan; add asafetida, cumin seeds, red chilli powder and add the dried pieces.

Add Turmeric powder and saut.

Add buttermilk and bring it to a boil.

Chop the coriander leaves.

After it is cooked, add salt.

Garnish it with finely chopped coriander leaves.

Serve hot.
