    How to Add a .PNG Picture to PowerPoint


    With your part file (.IPT) file open in Autodesk Inventor
    Position you part in an isometric view (shows three sides at once)
    Orient your part for the best view, it shows the part in a vertical position and
    shows off the decal or extruded name.
    Go to the big I and scroll up to Export Image.
    In Export to Image, select .PNG to the desktop.
    Create a new slide for your .PNG in PowerPoint.
    In PowerPoint go to Insert tab and select Picture.
    In the next dialog box that opens, click on Browse to find the file.
    Navigate to your file and select it.
    See example of the Extruded Mug with Decal on the next slide for a finished
    example, your slide should fill the page.
    You can crop the edges of the drawing to get ride of the space beyond the
    boarder.
    DELETE This slide from you final presentation.
