The student reflected on a speech they gave in their Global Studies class about the groups they belong to. In my Global Studies class, we wrote a brief speech outline about what
groups we belong to as individuals. We presented these in front of the class, as shown by the video above. This represents effective oral communication because I was able to get my information across in a concise manner. I need lots of work in this category, as I was constantly moving my stance and using hand gestures. (That latter part isn't so much my fault, I grew up with Italians.) I plan to improve my speaking skills in the future by rehearsing my speeches more and ensuring that I know what I want to say, and when to say it.
